The Magic of Team-FM Special Events!

We're fortunate that very often we hear from our listeners. Many of you (especially those who work) love the Ten In One Team Machine. While there are many commercial music services around, we know you appreciate the wide range of music played and of course that unique Team-FM sound! On Friday and at the weekends, we know that you love the high quality shows we provide as well.

But what is also clear is that you love surprises, and don't we all! The number of people listening at Christmas time is always especially high, because there are special shows which are not part of our regular schedule.

So, how do we combine the two? Meet Team-FM Special Events.

Team-FM special Events is a brand new way for you to receive nice surprises. this might be a party, a live sho, a documentary, a theme night or more. When an event is not playing there is no dead air, you can still hear the wonderful sound of Team-FM.

Can You Tell Me More About The Events And When They Happen?

An event could happen at any time, so you'll definitely want to keep track of Twitter, Facebook and our Announce email list to see what is upcoming. If you have our I O S or Android app installed, you'll get a push notification to let you know the event will start soon and its theme.

We've already given you an idea as to what kind of events may be on offer. But they might include:

  • An 80's party. So many people love the 80's and you can dance along while bringing back the memories.
  • Sing-Along Special. Hear those songs you just have to sing along to.
  • Theme Night. You might hear songs from the movies, a Disney special, songs to relax to over a glass of wine, classics with names in the title, story songs, the list is endless.
  • Other Special Shows. Songs from a specific year or decade, those beginning with a particular letter of the alphabet, there are so many surprises.

Team-FM Special Events do not happen regularly week by week. That's the point of them. They are a surprise. They are special. Just watch out for them. If you snooze, you lose!

What's The First Special Event?

Well we shouldn't really tell you as it is meant to be a surprise. But, Okay, if you really want to know. At 9 PM this coming Friday, right after Welcome to the Weekend, you have a choice. you can enjoy Spencer James with a replay of Airplay40 on our main channel. Alternatively, you can join the ultimate 80's party on Special Events. Dance away to those songs you know and loved from the 80's decade! Upbeat tunes for three hours, with the exception of the last song. Everyone needs a slowy at a party, and you can choose the last dance.

How Do I Listen To a Special Event?

If you visit our web site at www.team-fm.com/events, you'll be able to listen via your favourite audio player. We're also adding Team-FM Events to radio directories all the time. If you have a favourite radio directory, and Team-FM Events is not listed, do let us know.

There are two other very easy ways to listen; via our Alexa Skill or I O S and Android apps. In the case of Alexa, you can either ask the good lady to "Play Team-FM", whereupon you'll hear a menu asking which stream you would like. As well as that, you can say, "Ask Team-FM to Play Special Events".

If you're using our apps for portable devices, you'll see a selection box. Just tap the stream you would like to hear.
