Welcome to a Four Day Weekend!

Hi everyone. Its only once a year I can welcome you to a four-day Weekend, as many of us get to enjoy an extra day off work at Easter time. That sounds like Heaven to me. No matter what your plans are for the Weekend ahead, I’d love it if you could join me, Brian D, on the Station where great music matters at 7PM today in Ireland and the UK, or 2PM on the East coast of America. I’ll have a fine selection of feel good tunes, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, to get your long Weekend on track.
The show is feature filled too:
• Kick-Start-Track. It’s the track that sets the pace for the Weekend. We’ll begin with a tune released in August 2011.
• 1 at the Weekend. We’ll hear 3 well-known number 1 singles from 3 different decades, that were at the top on this Weekend in 2006, 1992 and 1981, but in which country?
• Singled out. In the days when music wasn’t available on demand, Was There a single you really wanted, and the only way you could get it was to save your pennies to buy it. I’ll play a Single I bought in 1982.
• The Friday Disco. In this segment of the show, we’ll relive those Disco Days from the 1970s and 80’s, when this genre of music was at its peak worldwide.
• Brian D’s Hot Pick. What new release grabbed my attention over the last 7 days? You’ll have to tune in to see.
• Team Fm Top Tune. This top-notch new release is better than all the rest, and you can hear it for the first time today, on Team Fm.

There are many ways to hear the show, including:
