Welcome to Paradise, it's a 3 day Weekend!
Hi everyone. If you live in Ireland and the UK, you’ll have a 3 day Weekend ahead of you, as next Monday is a Holiday Day. A perfect word to describe that, is Paradise. However, no matter whether it’s a 2 or 3 day Weekend in your part of the world, it begins on Friday, at 7PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2PM on the East Coast of America. That’s the time when Brian D will take to the airwaves, on the station where great music matters, and Welcome you to Paradise. 2 hours of the hottest up beat tunes, in a warm and friendly atmosphere, will get your Weekend on track.
Regular features will be here too:
• Kick-start. Setting the pace for the Weekend ahead. Beginning with a track released early this year, that reached number 2 in the UK.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. 3 versions of the same song, by 3 different artists. Your welcome to tell me which one you think is Good, Bad or Ugly.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by, through memories and music. Are there any particular songs that remind you of your Birthday? As a child, breaking into your teenage years or going out partying with your friends to celebrate your Birthday. Was the number 1 song the day you were born a particularly good one? That will be the subject of the Weekend Rewind. As usual, I’ll have some special songs along with their memories, and your welcome to share yours too, if you like.
• The Team Fm Top Tune. There are several tracks released each week, but the Top Tune must be top notch. Better than all the rest, and you’ll hear it for the first time on Team Fm today!
