The Weekend Is Coming

Hi everyone. Like a good friend, the coming of the Weekend is reliable and dependable. Sometimes during a long and busy week, we often wonder will it ever show its face, but it always does. On Friday at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK, or 2 PM on the East Coast of America, I’d love it if you could join me, Brian D, When I will Welcome you to the Weekend. Like a good friend should, I look forward to seeing you whatever it is that you may be doing. Whether it’s doing a spot of Shopping, having a relaxing night at home or getting ready to go out on the Town, I’ll be there for you. Two hours of feel good music and friendly banter, will clear away the stress of the busy week that was, and get you on track for the Weekend ahead.

Features on the show will include:
• Kick-Start. The track that sets the pace for the Weekend ahead. We’ll break free from the week with a track released in 2014, by an American female artist, who collaborated with a German DJ.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things that you did in times gone by. The last weekend of November has become synonymous with shopping. Black Friday and Flash Sales have caught on all over the world, and get us in the mood for shopping, as the festive season picks up pace. I’ll rewind you back to good tunes all about Shopping, by taking you Down Town. No Matter whether you’re a big spender or not, retail therapy is always good.
• The One That Got Away. A track that is not often heard on Radio. We’ll hear a one hit wonder from 1980, from an artist whose father tasted success 20 years before hand.
