This Is How We Do It

Hi everyone. Thanks so much for the warm welcome I received on Team Fm last Weekend. On Friday, at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK, that’s 2 PM Eastern, I will return and look forward to closing out another busy week, as I Welcome you all to the Weekend. My promise to you is to wipe away the stress of the hectic week that was, and get you ready for the weekend ahead.

How will I do that? With 2 hours of the very best feel good music, mixed with a warm blend of friendly banter. If I can borrow your Ears, I will show you exactly how it can be done.
The show will have features for you to enjoy and participate in if you wish such as:
• Kick-Start. The track that sets the pace for the weekend ahead. We’ll get things on track, by hearing a tune originally released in 1995. Re-mixed last year, by a Dutch DJ who will show us how the Weekend should begin.
• The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. You’ll hear 3 versions of the same song, performed in a different way by all 3 artists. You are welcome to tell me which is Good, Bad or Ugly. Last time you thought the original version of our chosen track was the good one. Will the same hold true this time? Only time will tell.
• Weekend Rewind. Taking you back to good things you did at the weekend in times gone by. Buying a CD was something I did almost every Saturday while growing up. I’d like to rewind you back to a time when you bought or received your first CD? Or a particular one that holds a special memory for you. I’ll share mine with you? And invite you to share yours with me too.
• The One That Got Away. A track that is not often heard on Radio. We’ll hear A Flamenco version of a tune that was released in 1990, performed in Spanish, by a group from the South of France. It is their treatment of a popular tune that was originally released by the Eagles in February 1977.

If you’d like to interact with me before, or during the show, you are welcome to get in touch, and I’d love to hear from you. To request a tune that makes you feel good, to participate in any of our features or simply to say hi, it’s very easy. You can:

No matter where you are this Weekend, I’d love your company if you can make it. The place to be is www.team-fm.com. Right before Pat Sharp plays All The Hits, to keep the feel good tunes going, because great music really does matter. Happy Friday everyone!
