The Music Machine presents one hit wonders!

Hi everyone

I hope you’ll be able to join me on Saturday at 2 PM Eastern, 7 PM UK, as we salute the one hit wonder songs.

According to Wikipedia, there are many different meanings of the term, “One hit wonder”. However, my definition for this show is a group or an artist who has only had one presence on the UK top 40 singles chart. I’ve done considerable research into this, both in terms of the singles chart in the UK and the Billboard Hot 100 in America, and the one hit wonders in America are markedly different to those in Britain which is why this is restricted to the UK.

Ranging from the very obscure to the hits you will know, I hope you will enjoy this programme!
