Hi everyone. My favourite day of the week is almost here. You've guessed it? its Friday.

Each and every Friday, where ever you are in the world, I hope you will allow me to Welcome You To The Weekend on www.team-fm.com. The fun begins at 7 PM in Ireland and the UK, that's 2 PM Eastern.

I will have a pile of up-beat tunes, which will lift your mood from the mundane week that is behind you, and help you get ready for the Weekend that lies ahead. You are more than welcome to participate at any stage during the show, and I'd love to hear from you.

Kick-start tune. Each and every week, we kick things off with a Kick-start tune to set you on the right road for your weekend. This week, I will have you All Fired up to enjoy whatever you are getting up to over the next two days.

Double-take, is quite simply two tracks by the one artist. This week, it is the turn of the Boss, the man from New Jersey, Bruce Springsteen. We have 2 tracks from both ends of the spectrum in his long and successful career.

At the top of the second hour, I will take you on a shopping trip. Shopping is one of the activities that you may have planned for your weekend, so I will play half an hour of tunes associated with shopping. Christmas is coming, so why not make plans now for a spot of shopping before the mad rush begins.

The Irish Connection. This is two tracks by two different Irish artists. This will take place as usual, at half past the second hour of the show. We are surrounded by as much music in this Island as Water, and I will expose you to lots of Irish talent during the coming weeks.
